Have you checked your thermostat and timer?
Make sure your timer is set to "off" and that you thermostat is set above room temperature.
Is your power supply working?
Ensure you check the electricity supply to the boiler before calling out an engineer.
Is your gas supply working?
Test other gas appliances in your home (like a gas hob or fire), it may also be worth checking with your neighbours if their supply is working or not. If your gas stopcock is on and no gas is coming through then you need to contact your gas supplier.
Is the pressure gauge above 1.5?
The typical range for modern boilers is 1.0 – 1.5 bar. If your boiler is below this, follow your manufacturer’s instructions to refill and restart your system. If your boiler pressure is at the correct level make sure you call us.
Is your pilot light on?
Your pilot light may go out for a range of different reasons, many of which do not require a gas engineer. Check your boiler manual for instructions on how to relight it, if it doesn't ignite be sure to call us.
